ARCHIVAL NOTES

Canadian red fox has long been regarded as one of the most valuable and visually striking fox furs, prized for its rich coloration, density, and warmth. Sourced from colder climates, these pelts were historically reserved for high-end salons and custom commissions.

Pricing reflects the scarcity, quality, and collector-level nature of this piece. Once in a lifetime find.

A late 1970s advertisement, shown in the third image, lists a Canadian red fox coat at $8,500 USD. Adjusted for inflation, this equals approximately $40,000–$45,000 today, underscoring the luxury and social currency fur garments of this caliber held during the period.

PACKAGING NOTES
Ships gift-wrapped in red satin ribbon with a custom matchbook & winter detailing, meant to echo the luxury of a mid-century Fur Salon.
